I stayed for a couple of nights and overall the room was fine, nothing really bad or anything, but the heating took forever to actually warm the place up and the air con felt a bit old too, so when the weather shifted it just wasn’t as comfortable as I’d hoped, the staff were really nice though which helped.

I had a really chill stay here and ended up meeting some genuinely nice people in the common room. when a hostel makes it that easy to start chatting with strangers, you can usually tell the whole place has a good vibe.

There were lockers everywhere, so finding one was basically no effort at all. I felt totally fine leaving my stuff there and going about my day.

I stayed in a private room for one night, and overall it was okay. The room was clean enough, but it did feel a little worn down in places. The bed was comfortable enough, though the walls were thin, so I could hear more than I’d like. Personally, I’d say it’s fine if you just need somewhere to sleep for a night, but I was expecting it to be a bit better.

The communal areas were okay overall, but they did feel a bit crowded at times. After a while, I was just tired of having to navigate around people and deal with the usual back-and-forth of shared spaces

I’ve stayed with YHA a few times now, and for the price, I’ve been happy with it. I’m usually a bit cautious about budget places because I don’t want to end up somewhere dirty or dodgy, but the rooms have been basic, clean, and easy enough to settle into.

The shared kitchens are a big plus too, especially when food costs add up fast. It’s not fancy, and I wouldn’t go in expecting hotel-style comfort, but if you just need somewhere decent, safe-feeling, and affordable, it does the job.

I slept okay overall, so it wasn’t a bad experience, but the mattress did feel a bit hard for my liking. I kept wondering if it was just me, but I think a slightly softer bed would have made me feel more comfortable and rested.

Had a super smooth check-in at YHA. The staff were friendly friendly, found my booking pretty much straight away, and explained the key card and room stuff without making it feel like a whole thing. I was a bit tired when I got there, so it was nice to just get it sorted with no hassle. Took maybe 5 minutes all up. Would definitely stay again.

I stayed at YHA and the WiFi was much better than I expected. It was easy enough to connect and worked well in both my room and the common areas, with no annoying dropouts. It made planning my trip and doing video calls really easy. I was just expecting the instructions for connecting to be a bit clearer upfront, but once I figured it out, it worked great.

Had a really good time tbh, the nights were super fun and easygoing. Met heaps of people too, which was prob my fave part.

I booked a YHA through yha.com.au and the location ended up being super convenient. It was close to the trains, plenty of food spots, and most of the things I wanted to check out, so I didn’t spend half my trip just getting from place to place. made everything feel way easier. I’d definitely book again just for the location...

To be fair, the bathrooms were clean and well kept. I didn’t run into any issues while I was there, so overall it was a perfectly fine experience.

I had to cancel my booking last minute and, I don’t know, I was kind of expecting it to be a whole thing. But it was actually really simple. I sent the request, got a clear reply back, and then the refund came through sooner than I thought it would. No chasing anyone or trying to figure out what was going on. So yeah, really happy with how YHA handled it

In my experience, the maintenance team was really on top of things. I had a small issue with the light in my room, and they got it fixed the same day. The building also felt clean and well looked after, which made the whole thing feel stress-free

They did help me out in the end, but yeah the replies were kinda slow. Not a huge deal, just took longer than I expected tbh.

The room was clean overall, so that was fine. The shared bathroom could’ve used a bit more attention though, it just felt kind of messy here and there, especially considering the whole setup. It wasn’t awful or anything, and I’d maybe stay again, but probably only if the price was lower

I booked through YHA Australia and found the location really handy overall. Being close to the train and buses made a big difference, especially when I was carrying my bag around and didn’t want to overthink every trip.

It was also easy enough to get back later in the evening, which I appreciated. It’s not some fancy luxury setup, but for convenience and keeping the trip simple, it worked really well for me.
